Castell Cartoixa de Vallparadís

The building dates from the 12th century, and was originally a castle before being temporarily turned into a Carthusian monastery in the 14th and 15th centuries. From the monastic period there is the Gothic nave which housed the old chapel, popularly known as
Tinellet, the chapter house and the two-storey cloister. The Castle is currently home to the temporary exhibition hall of the Museum of Terrassa and a permanent exhibition which shows the evolution of the area and human settlement in Terrassa and its county.
