The Sant Francesc convent was opened in 1612. The parts of the convent that have been preserved, besides the church, are its cloister and some areas around it.

The square plan two-storey cloister contains twenty-six polychrome ceramic panels made between 1671 and 1673. This exceptional ceramic ensemble has been attributed to the workshop of the master potter from Barcelona, Llorenç
